Blue Parrot are delighted to have been supplying all technical requirements, lighting design and sound for the Museum Lates events at the National Museum of Scotland. Each event has a different theme and the lighting of the Grand Gallery and other rooms is designed specifically for that theme. The main focus is the main stage in the centre of the Grand Gallery for which we supply all lighting, sound and video - working alongside some great acts.
As each event is so different the equipment list is forever changing, but one of the mainstays has been the Chauvet WELL uplighters providing us with portable but very powerful light. One of the biggest challenges we must overcome is shortness of time - we only have access once the museum has closed it's doors to the public at 5pm, and we must be show ready by 7pm! Our dedicated team ensures this happens successfully time after time.
One of the latest editions to these events is our Chauvet PVP S5 LED video wall, providing a vibrant and eye-catching backdrop to the main stage. This systems ease of use and speedy set-up makes it ideal for this event.
